I’ve been sitting here staring at David Levithan’s books for the last half hour. I haven’t even read them yet and I’m about to cry, all because I want to read them badly but I don’t want to read them either, because if I do then they will be over and I can never revisit this feeling of being excited for Everyday or The Lover’s DIctionary or How They Met and Other Stories. Because I can reread a book forever, but I can never read it again for the first time. And that sucks. I wish someone would just make a machine to erase our book memories so that we can experience them again for the first time. How cool would that be?
