I was going to blog about my trip to the library (because I’m SO exciting that way) but I decided not to and to do post about NOT DOING ANYTHING instead. I have to put it in caps. I’m sorry if it blinded you, but I have to. Let me begin just by making a list of things I was supposed to have accomplished by today:
1. Edit the second draft of the manuscript I’m working on
2. Clean my room
3. Clean my wardrobe
4. Edit the second draft of the manuscript I’m working on
5.Go jogging
6. Read finish the rest of Inferno (by Dan Brown, not Dante)
7. Call home
8. Re-schedule my appointment with the obstetrician and wash my lady bits properly (sorry, guys)
9. Sort out my bills, go to the ATM to transfer money, etc, etc
10. Edit the second draft of the manuscript I’m working on
What I have done so far:
1. Spent 2 hours at the library and left with 12 books
2. Spent another 30 min in a BOOKSTORE (RIGHT AFTER I CAME OUT OF THE LIBRARY) buying 5 more books
3. Going broke after spending a bomb on said 5 books
4. The laundry (YEEAAAAAAAAAH)
5. Finished a bag of chips while I watch cat videos
6. Spent 2 hours dancing badly to Beyonce songs, hoping I’d be able to shake my booty after that much practice (it didn’t work, if you were wondering)
7. Watch Despicable Me twice
8. Blog, Tumblred, Tweet, Facebook
9. Hate myself thoroughly for my lack of discipline
And how much of my manuscript have I touched? Z-E-R-O, ladies and gentlemen, A BIG FAT ZERO. I’m pissed with myself. And my lady bits. Which I did manage to wash thoroughly, actually. Sorry, was that too much info?

At least you washed, its more than I’m planning on doing today (high five)

The art of doing nothing is truly an art form! I would have been able to say that I did pretty much nothing so far today, except that I broke some of my husband’s electronics. So, I guess my work is finished here…I’m going back to doing nothing.

Hi Tony! It needs a lot, apparently. I showed it to my friend (a Lit major) and she thought it was crap! I’m probably not as good as I think I am š
